My good friends at Living Films produced the film The Hangover 2 in Thailand late last year, and it looks fantastic. Shooting films in Southeast Asia, and Thailand in particular is not always easy. I’ve been on shoots stopped by severe weather, government censorship, and even a political coup. However somehow these guys always pull it together to get out a great looking film. The crews in Thailand are top notch, the scenery is fantastic, and it’s way less expensive than shooting in the USA.
Hangover two was shot over 7 months, and had a cast of over 500 local Thais. Looks like a fun movie, and a fun shoot.
